What is the difference between the two types of full metal doors on a 81 cj-7?
The 81 cj-7 was a half year. there were to were two types of doors produces. the only difference i know of is the fact that the sheet metal is thicker in one & the hinges are different is some way. Need to know how to tell difference?
The difference is in the headlights. The CJ 7 has a narrower set of headlights. You can also tell by the bumper. The CJ 7 has a metal bumper, whil the other doesn’t.
