Tool Rake
Can someone explain the different tools for the maintenance of a dirt road / driveway?
We have a driveway feet land 2000, a tractor and four wheels. We have a blade for tractor, but there are many tools available. What is a rake york? landscape rake? scraper? drag? The unit has a lot of stones that we would get out without ruining the entire surface. Help!
One question … What kind of tractor? I maintain our way with a small, 35 HP tractors (MF to35). Most of the time, all I need is a V-shaped ballast, with welded mesh fence the lower. When I have concrete stone (gravel with a dry concrete mix added) delivered, I use the spread sheet rock and filling potholes, then surface drag. A garden tractor (riding mower) does not have sufficient weight or horsepower to do the job, although my mother-in-law is driving.
