How frequently ultra sound to be performed during pregnancy ?
Is it is harmful for the baby if done at regular intervals , i am 52 days pregnant and yesterday Dr took ultra sound and she told to come after 15 days to perform again ultra sound . I am worried as people say frequent scan is not adviceable , kindly suggest me . Thanks a lot in advance.
To date I am not aware of studies that show a negative effect of ultrasound on the baby. The problem is that we really don’t know how many can be done, but 4-5 during a pregnancy has not shown to have any negative effects
