I get a pet shop chinchilla?

i going to get a chinchilla, but the breeders are too far away from here im thinking if I could get a pet smart are they gonna be afraid every day and my friends said that if I get a pet store that will be very annoying and I can not retain them? / / Where I can get one?

There is no such thing as a chinchilla mill. " Chinchilla ranches where there are children sent over wholesale market. Children are treated exactly like the other animals there, the animals show, breeding animals, animals for sale. Some of the conditions to breathe because of the size of cage, but no more than a few backyard breeders chin, or backyard breeders who breed designer dogs (muts) and then sell them for $ 800.00. I would be interested to know where you live you can not find a breeder. I pretty much fall myself lately. Everyone and their brother is a breeder. Already case of a good breeder or not is a different matter. Try going to http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com and post an ad on the chin "wanted" section. I'm pretty sure we can find someone close or someone willing to train you, if you prefer to buy from a breeder. I note that there is nothing wrong with buying a chin a pet store. They are so deserving of love as a chin from a breeder. People like to say that if you buy one, then bring one in, and that's true. In a perfect world, no animals are sold in a pet store, but this is not a perfect world. Everyone is not going to stop buying chinchillas pet stores soon, thus destroying the market and need. If you want to buy from a pet store, go ahead, but there are a few things to think about first. 1) Expenditures. For quality pet chinchilla, you are paying through the nose of a pet store, especially in certain areas of the country. You can get a standard of quality pet from a breeder or $ 50 – $ 75.00, but you pay less, sometimes twice more in a pet store. 2) Temperament. When the chin to leave the ranch to go to pet stores, are very young, sometimes as young as 6 weeks. No one has abused them or did they have bad attitudes. That came later, during handling at the pet store. He looked, up incorrectly, maimed by the general public, trapped in cages with other chins can not get along with, fed bad food, being in good light warm areas. All these things can add up to a chinchilla in a bad mood. No matter the age. You can link to ANY chin. It need not be a baby. But can sometimes come with a lot of baggage. 3) Lots of "surprise" pregnancies. Pet Store employees are generally not very bright when it comes to animals in their care. (Some are, but in general are totally clueless.) Launch of males to females because they are too lazy or too stupid to check. I know of many people who have come home only to find surprise litter of kits from their supposed male or female chinchilla was only with other women. 4) For maintenance it is necessary do some research. Chins are not a holding on, mauling type of animal. They are independent and busy. It is a very, very rare that allows you to sit chin and hold either a breeder or pet store. It is their genetic makeup. They want to be running and playing. Also overheat easily, which keeps all the time not only provides all kinds of nasty oils on your skin on your hands, but can also cause stress, overheating, and become ill. As I said, first, do more research to understand exactly what you're getting with a chin. I absolutely love them and I can not imagine my life without them, but not necessarily the right pet for everyone. You may want an animal that will be much more interactive with you, and chin can not be. Second, check out the classified section you linked to above to find a breeder near you. You can also read through all forums and make an informed decision about whether a pet chinchilla is right for you. Good luck!
