the number of affidavit of support can be signed to different people?
Last year I signed affidavit of support forms for my parents and they are obtained and their immigrant visa. One of my friends need my help to sign affidavit of support to his brother. My question is how many statement affidavit of support can be signed to different people? What are my responsibilities if your brother do something bad later in the U.S.?
It does depend on your income and the number of people you have in your own family in the U.S.. plus the total number of people who are sponsoring. provided that the amount for the number total number of people who are sponsoring and support from abroad in their home at 125% of federal poverty guidelines is below your actual income, you're right. You are still responsible to help all those you have filed a statement of support for a fairly long time. but you're not responsible if they commit some kind of crime.
