What should I expect when my Shitzu has puppies?
My Shitzu is day 59 of her pregnancy, she shows all the signs that come, and how longer until then?
You've been seeing for the pregnancy to your dog's veterinarian. He / she is your best resouce to answer this or your breeding mentor. Even large dogs may need a cesarean section, smaller dogs tend to be more so, but it really depends on the individual and the dog what I bred for. Your vet will x-ray your dog to determine how many puppies she has, and get an idea of how your work / delivery or even go if she will need surgery. To be honest, the vet or breeding mentor's who rely for this information and not strangers here, do not know your dog, your situation or your dog's health / medical situation.
