My dog has puppies. What is the best venue for her to have her puppies? Shiba Inu in Las Vegas.?
They have two other dogs. The father and the other men. Shiba Inu and rat terrior. Do I have to keep them away and for how long?
You can build a whelping box, but it is easier just to get a kiddy wading pool (for children) and then surround it with a pen of exercise (for dogs, can be found at most stores pets). Then, only the line with a lot of newspapers and towels. The best thing is to keep all the other dogs away from her at least 2 weeks that she has her cubs. She my be defensive because they feel that the other dogs are a threat.
