How to soften cracked leather interior?
I'm getting old, my father's car. And the leather seats are fragmented and very dry in the ridges. Are your solutions or solvents to "cure" it? Or is your thing, as leather lotion? Your advice would be very useful!
What has dried is humidity. Use a water based leather cleaner and protector, and this will help moisturize the skin. Do not add wax, oil, etc, as they may worsen the problem. It would be better to have the leather restored by a qualified technician as then Alst much longer. Once the pigment has broken through the skin of the leather will begin to deteriorate and then be irreparable. Avoid the "conditioning" and do not use products with solvents of any kind as this will remove the pigment and finish.
