What materials are needed to care for rabbits?
I'll get a rabbit. Can anyone give me a list of supplies needed for them? Also a couple more questions, what kind of food is best to feed? what kind of chips or what is the best? Thank you!
Looking for a pet rabbit or just a rabbit out, because the attention varies. If you are outside, you do not need chips. A wire cage bottom and a tray collecting the excrement is all you really need. I breed rabbits, and I just feed them rabbit chow Walmart, which is cheaper than grocery stores, but has the same nutritional value. You also need a pair of nail scissors, nail scissors are the best dog class. If you do not clip the nails every three weeks or so, they will get sore hocks, which is painful for the rabbits. In addition, they get something to chew on. Rabbits teeth are constantly growing, and if they do not grind them down, they will get malcolussion. Also, if the rabbit is in, you can litter box train, with a corner litterbox.
