Question about dog hurt?
My Pit Bull recently injured his leg. I took him to the vet and she said you only need to relax leg of his leg which means short walks without rough housing, and definitely not run. I've been following his orders, but I think my dog is going crazy. It is used to going in one hour two runs in the morning, noon, walk and run again in the evening. I always carry with me when I leave home or a friend but I had to leave the house lately, because he gets excited and plays rough with other dogs. I feel terrible but I know it's best if you do the rest. He Kong has to keep it stimulated, and a stuffed toy puzzle, but I feel he needs more. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can continue his active mind to not get too boring? His leg is improving, but apparently still has a few more days of rest ahead of him.
