puppy pugs
Pugs can go for a run? Hiking? How far is too far? I have a puppy and want to do other things besides watch TV.?
No I have a dog who can only go in short bursts of joy, and I know how far I can go with him. He is 3 months today. Books and people say couch potato all pugs are good friends are repeats, repeats of Seinfeld, and eating CHEEZE doodle. Outside of walking around the neighborhood, how far is too far? Can I take a light walk 6 miles long inclined to keep him water to prevent overheating, and follows a path shaded? I jogging with him for 2 miles? I love him, he is cute as can be. I just want to throw around some anecdotal evidence to support me are active with he. Thank you.
I have 2 pugs. In hot pant forever. Being that Pugs have a short muzzle, which is not cool like other dogs (ie, longer snouts). The nose of a dog is like your air conditioning and have little nose. I would say that would be lucky to get to walk a mile before they overheat. It is important to walk exercise your Pug and is prone to gain weight very easily. But do not worry, it is your pug is only 3 months old, which will keep you calm and very entertaining most of the time. Mine are still full. They are loyal, loving dogs. You can not go wrong!
