Puppy bites through chew toys?
My dog chews through all the toys to be found. We have tried to rope toys, toys rubber, plasic bones, real bones, tennis balls, stuffed toys, frisbees, soccer balls, volleyball and others. Everything usually goes away within a few days. What happens is that if you chew all the toys, she starts to chew on other things that are not supposed to, like shoes. Is there some very good, toys unchewable to give? Or how I can make toys last?
I feel your pain. My eight month old lab can destroy almost any toy very quickly. I've been through a lot of stuffed animals and a lot of things that are supposed to be indestructible. Fortunately, I think my puppy just enjoy the destruction of their toys, because she has only chewed on one thing that was not theirs. Kong toys definitely tends to stand very well. My dog has bitten through his first puppy Kong and most of Dental Kong Toys Red, but his two original Kongs (red) are still standing. When they started showing a little wear, I bought a black Kong and keeps busy – When it becomes not so difficult, it is recommended to move a larger size. For more Kongs durable, avoid stuffed toys and rope toys, not I feel more durable (but more expensive) than other toys. Also to keep your dog busy with Kong, things to things that are really hard to leave. Peanut butter can be licked out in less than a minute to my dog, but if I have peanut butter spread on a slice of bread with jam in the Kong, which can have their 15 or 20 minutes to go. Jam cookies that barely fits in it or fill it with liquid and freeze – is best taken outside. This I have tried to Combat Battle tested toys which are made of the same material as luggage – is supposed to be resistant to the thread. But my dog has destroyed two of these toys in the three days we've had. My dog is a big fan of the Nylabone, but still with Nylabones hard. I made the mistake of buying one of the most flexible and was in pieces in minutes – not digestible gum, so this is dangerous. And in many ways (the dinosaurs, swing arms, dog bones, etc.) Other options for strong chewers and cowhide helmets, but you have to be careful because they can cause intestinal obstruction and irritation. I limit my dog to a decent size (a square chip or part of a larger bone) rawhide day. If you want length of rawhide, leather does not get compressed – my dog eats it as just a cookie) Him better we stuffed animal found is a little stuffed toy made by Ty (the company that makes babies cap. is a dog of 9 inches of pink that has been chewed and pulled – between two to my dog and his friend 5 months of age with each holding Labbie dog's ear. We've had almost three weeks and still has not burst a seam, all ears are on, and no weak point is still notable. This is by far the longest a stuffed animal has remained intact in our house.
