My pups are well fed and are now 8 weeks. Is there hope for full growth and height?
Puppies in a litter greatdane Large (10). They apparently have not fared well and are too small for age. I intend to feed them and there, but I fear that the loss their first 8 weeks affect their growth potential. Is there still time to save, because I know that dogs grow well only at a certain stage.
Do your best. You can never be as great as might have been, but they are young, so they have much time to grow. I have chihuahuas. One of my hobbies is how to restrict food to be small. My male is more than 7 pounds. All but one woman is almost 6 pounds, because they have some fat in them. A woman is very fat, but only about 3 or 4 pounds. She is very, very small, just fat. I see people restrict small dog food all the time to try to make them smaller or keep them smaller. Just do not like. I think it's cruel. I do not like to feel the ribs of dogs.
