Should I adopt this dog?
I toodling around the local animal shelter yesterday. Husky was a beautiful woman (1 year old or less) is I knew how to heel, sit, and shake paws. I instantly liked, who was obedient, docile and sweet. She walks for approval Wednesday. I would not have a power problem to another dog, but I've never had a husky before. I have chickens and horses, and I fear it could end up chasing one or both. I have already Great Pyr and Pug Chihuahua mix, and I'm not sure she and the Pyrenees along. What do you think I should do? I like the dog … This is a small shelter, Podunk animals, and I asked the manager what he thought of the dog and chickens / horses. He had no input (Redneck Hillbilly typical), and was a dog street, which does not have information about it.
Accept that you need to make personal refuge that this dog well in environments with other animals, shelter usually does a background check and be able to tell everything. Its wonderful that you are choosing to adopt a give a dog a loving home. I hope to be able to get her. Good luck and congratulations.
