Property Laws

Anyone familiar with the laws of property taxes in Pennsylvania?
I'm behind on my property taxes for 2005 2004. I have to pay $ 7,000 on September 10, 2007 or my house will be auctioned. I've been in constant contact with the tax office over a year. Last September I was put on a payment plan of $ 600 a month for 12 months, which could not afford (but I was told that was my only resource) that I could have paid when it was close, but never anything in the $ 600 needed each month. Is anyone familiar with this type of situation? I live in Pennsylvania, I am a single mother does not have enough money to pay my regular bills each month. Do I have any recourse? Can this auction is delayed or I'll end up homeless in September 1911?
Your tax authority (in County PA) is the last position of privilege at home. You must pay. I'm surprised to negotiate with you first (Atypical). If you have, you may be able to refinance your home and pay taxes owed by income. Moreover, they can not work very well that your credit is property insurance because of delinquent taxes. I would call a local mortgage company and at least explore that option. Best of luck.
