If the dog likes to chew on, go buy one … or "a raw turkey neck." …?
I saw this reply in another thread dog, which was rated as "best answer." The entire paragraph … "If you like chewing, go buy a helmet raw beef, knuckles, or a raw turkey neck. This will give you the satisfaction of chewing, as well as a nutritional supplement. "I pressed add leather, especially for small babies, and they can extract regular rawhide pieces and drown. But "raw turkey neck" I had never heard of. Is this true, if so, you can freeze? Better? I know chicken bones are not good, because they can splinter. I love to give my dog treats natural and hard boiled eggs, but a good chew toy sound too natural to be true!
I get sick of saying this, raw bones and meat are perfectly fine to give a dog while its a size that can not be swallowed whole. Do not cook the bones and this makes them fragile. If in doubt, consult your veterinarian, who may have a different opinion than me or you, but if you doubt, do not.
