Petsmart is a good place to take your dog for training?
Pastor 7 months I have a lab mix that I found wandering the streets. She has been "diagnosed" (by the vet) with fear aggression and it was suggested (by the people Petsmart) to get her into some puppy classes. I am Leary what kind of real training of these people have had with dogs with behavior problems? Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with classes Petsmart training? Thanks She is fine with other dogs and people once they get to know them. It just seems that every time I see these kinds Petsmart trainers they look so young?
I took my puppy to Petsmart for training, but I would not recommend it for you. You need a more professional coach with years training to cope with fear aggression. Petsmart busy weather could cause your dog to have an attack of fear aggression. Do not want your dog attacking a person or another dog if your fear. These coaches are not equipped to deal with this problem. I look around a coach more, better educated.
