Are Pomeranian dogs stay small forever?
I am looking for a dog that stays small forever because our house is not very large. If not, indicate a breed that stays small forever. Thanks!
Standard for a Pom is 3 to 7 pounds. If you receive one from a reputable breeder should mature within one to two pounds of that. I have seen purebred registered poms from poor farmers (or Byb PetStore or puppymills) who have reached 20 pounds. Too big. (I've even seen some poms that were sold as "teacups" that were promised to stay small to very large). So the answer is, If you get a pom from a reputable breeder, even though they can not guarantee your size will remain small.
