How can I tell if a shrub or small tree to 4 feet Pom Pom is getting too much or too little water?.?
I have some points that are 4 to 6 INCES area is turning brown. Should I cut it off, or leave it? Is this caused by too little water or too much? Plz help!
If the soil is dry to the touch, which areas may turn brown this time of year can be Japanese beatles (errors of June) feed on the roots in their larval stage. You can use insecticides on them in a warm climate but have done the damage for now. Poison in the autumn while still is hot. A quick fix is to add about 4 inches of soil and replant the grass around the plant.
