which cat fountain is best for a persian flat-faced cats?
they have the catit one (with the dome) and its suck a pain in the ar*e ! the water doesn’t fall equally from all sides, and its time for an upgrade !
I need to know which one of the following is good for a flat-faced cats ?
- Drinkwell platinum (easy for me to get its filter locally)
- Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Fountain (have to buy throw internet)
i don’t really worry about capacity as they all on wet diet so you won’t eat much plus i’m welling to add water every two days.
i need your thoughts !

You know, I bought my guys a fountain (I have a Persian and an Exotic) and the only one that drinks from the stream of water is the other cat – who has a regular snout LOL I have the PetMate one and it’s quite nice. Just have to remember to check the water level regularly or you can burn out the motor. I also have a Newf/Lab dog in my home so once a week I dump it out entirely as hair can end up clogging it up.
Mr. Happy – the fountain filters the water so it’s nice and clean. I suppose your pets drink from the toilet? Yummy!
