Pet Underground

when your pet (s) died, is given a proper ceremony and buried in their backyard or wherever?
What type of pet was it? where / what you did with your pet died? he built his own makeshift coffins for pets or in a shoebox or simply buried as it is? What if the pet owner prefers his pet to be buried near his home and not in the local pet cemetery, then the depth is supposed to bury it not attract insects but will not be very deep and hit the pipes not covered by land? is sanitary or rot and smell whether the casket is not deep enough underground? I have no pet, I was curious as to what people do in this situation. their views? thanks.
in the last 3 years, I lost 3 dogs and 2 cats, all elderly and for various reasons. they are my children and has been the same for everyone. My father is a retired carpenter, so each of my animals company that has made a coffin lined with satin. i recorded the pet name, dates and a small budget on top of each coffin. I made a small blanket and wrapped it so it is not cool, pictures of us to not be alone, a gift that is not hungry. (Crazy, I know, but it makes me feel better to do this for them.) 4 of 5 animals were sacrificed, so there was enough time to make garden stones with their footprints before losing them. stones are back at the corner of my yard where they are buried, with a bank and grow wildflowers. knew that there were no pipes or cables in this part of patio, so it was not a problem. bury our pets until the top of the coffin would be about 2.3 ft down. is not legal for bury the animals within our city limits for sanitation reasons, and no pet cemetery here, so many people do not have much of a choice. If I had my own place, I would opt for cremation and the ashes in one place here. but as it is, I like to have buried them and know that yet are here with me, although it means I'm breaking the law.
