Can you make a living owning a quilt art business manager?
I want to start an online business selling quilts manager art and wondered if I could make enough money to live. I do pet portraits and house quilt. I also sell my own designs and possibly selling quilt patterns pet. This would be my only income.
I've been in the business of art commissioned quilt for 6 months and let me tell you — is rough. Lot of good players out there. However, if you stick with it and show a passion and make your site different from anything else that may have an opportunity. Make sure your site is interactive. Start a blog, get a twitter account, create a myspace group. Use lots of pictures and links not only to attract traffic, but to get radar of google. Having decent products and designs is not enough these days. You need to spend 90 percent of their time to market and get your site out there just after he built a large 2.0 site. But, hell. If I could take my own advice would not be doing anything wrong!
