How much do Gerbils cost at a dog/pet supply store?
There is a dog store where they sell puppies and like another part of it is a supply store and it has gerbils there. There is a gumball machine and if you get a red gumball you get 2 free gerbils. so i got them but want to go back today to get more but is wondering about what the price would be just to buy them? Thanks.
Personally, i would not buy ANYTHING from a pet store that sell puppies. I do not support puppy mills or anyone who does business with them. But a pet store gerbil typically runs anywhere from $7-$14. So $14-$28 for a pair.
And just FYI: the new gerbils cannot go with the two you already have – they would fight (likely to the death) and it is not advisable to try to split cage introduce two established pairs. Which means you would need to purchase another tank and more supplies….
