Need information on removing dirt stuffed?
I have a soft toy pet lamb that is necessary to clean your skin cos / Polar dirty. Condition has been so for over 7 years and I have afraid to send me cos the cleaners do not clean without shredding turst that half of your hair out. There is no mention anywhere on the web on how to remove stains or dirt on stuffed toys. All suggestions are welcome. I have not chosen a best answer yet, but their responses are absolutely brilliant, and I thank you so much! I mean, I have a book on stain removal, but not even has a page on removing stains from stuffed toys, and I've been agonizing over what course of action to take for a long, long time. Thanks again:)
Even though a lot of stuffed animals that almost clean, I had no problems with washing them on gentle cycle washing machine in cold water with Woolite or other liquid low foam washing. Place the toy in one of these bags are made for washing delicate items such as sweaters or "unspeakable" and wash with a small amount of Woolite and a little dust Oxyclean, use warm water only if the lamb is very dirty. It also helps to wash a pair of hand towels or a bath towel to keep the machine more balanced. Dry in the dryer, is no less hot. It is possible that the cycle through of the dryer a few times. Just make sure no tears in the fabric before washing in this way, or the filling will come out during the washing process. I every day view attachments … eyes, nose or bows just to make sure that they have not loosened in the cleaning process.
