How to get relief from the pain of sciatica and herniated disc L4-L5?
Herniated L4-L5 disc with sciatic pain in the left leg and foot of moderate to severe at times. They have tried 2 injections and oral medications, there is no real pain relief, physical therapy, traction provides a temporary relief. What options are left and how to avoid surgery? I am a contractor employed on their own and I can not take the time to work for surgery. Not to mention fear of surgery and complications. Any advice will help at this point … Thanks
I have the same problem, my L4 and L5 sciatic nerve are filled pain.my doctor put me on neurontin, is a blocker of nerve pain and is used for epilepsy are also medical mainly.but used to treat nerve pain, without side effects.now I've been taking this medicine, I have been pain free for two weeks now.ask your doctor! edit: 200 mg twice a day is what I think, that your doctor test in which atleast can be greater than 900 mg per day, if you ask your needed.please /
