How can I detect urine of dog in the bed of the carpet?
In my opinion, when dogs urinate, the urine can seep into the stuffing carpet, beyond line of sight. Of course, you can clean, steam, use bleach and what not to remove the stain. However, if the urine really get into the stuffing, the smell should remain. Is this true? It would be helpful to have an idea of dog owners experienced. If this is true, how can detect and remove the smell?
Vinegar and hot water are very effective in the urine smells. If it is cool and dry, you remove the stain with a towel and absorb most from the urine of access, and then pour in vinegar and hot water and dry some more. Repeat as necessary. Works great on mattresses too when kiddos wet the bed. My brother stayed with me a while and had some pups little moist around the spare room they were using and took my carpet cleaning with my shampooer Kirby 4to5 times to remove the bad smell that I do not know where the exact points. Puppies brand of small particles in all it seems.
