Can you swim in outdoor heated pools in cold weather?
Hi Guys! My family is planning to go over spingbreak FL. Of course the weather is not guaranteed to be hot, so I'm asking for hotels or condos that offer "outdoor" heated pools, is While swimming in them during the day, the colder climate (50, 60 degrees?)
yes, you can. It's OK to swim in a heated pool, when very cold, and not just cold. You can get to cool the pool, but once you're in the water is fine, leave the water and the back cover is not so bad because it is still hot water and air will not cool faster, so you can get back inside before freezing. I've done at ski resorts as a bit of fresh air in Florida is not going to bother.
