dog nail clippers….dremel or oster?
I was looking at getting one of these nail clippers, I have 2 golden retrievers… at pets mart they have a dremel for 49.99 and an oster brand clipper for 59.99 they both seem similar I think I am leaning towards the dremel as of now just wondering if anyone had any feedback?!?! thanks!!
i like the dremel. i have an oster one as well and it seems to bounce off the dogs nails and isn’t a smooth grind. the dremel you can get those small attachments that make it a whole lot easier to handle especially with the big guys. the dremel is very smooth operating and is quieter even without the attachment. my huskies like it much better than the oster. i have used both on client dogs as well ant they seem to be more relaxed with the dremel. i also have one made by jobmate, it works really well. you can get those at canadian tire if you live in canada and they are much cheaper than the brand name dremel. i do not like the pedi paws for large or small dogs it just takes way to long. it nice to have a rotary tool around the house too so i would again go with the dremel
