Oatmeal Shampoo

Tips for oatmeal shampoo for dogs?
I have two dogs and I'm using Advantix for fleas. I swim one week, due to the fact that she sleeps in the bed and so I do not smell of dog. lol The problem is even though it has Advantix, I was still seeing fleas. So I called the company and I said they could not use any regular dog shampoo. What am I Advantix box that says the product will remain even after swimming or bathing. It does not specify you must use a mild shampoo. (Do not believe everything you read) that I was hoping someone has a recipe for oatmeal shampoo homemade. I have fear of buying something at the store because the Advantix is too expensive and I can keep reapplying every couple of weeks. If anyone has any I would appreciate suggestions. Thanks!
After trial and error – this is the recipe I've used over the past 10 years. It works fine! Take a container a gal who has a good seal (I use a rinse laundry detergent container or milk jug bottom) and the label is to avoid any confusion: Base: 12 oz or 1 1 / 2 Cups Dove, Ivory, or Dawn liquid soap – do not buy any of the selections antibacterial soaps only base. Dawn is well known to kill fleas on your dog. 2 oz or 1 / 4 cup liquid glycerin (available in most pharmacies) 2 ounces or 1 / 4 cup apple cider vinegar **** Add following optional accessories if you want **** Optional / mix-n-match Additions: 2 tablespoons of liquid vitamin E (also in most pharmacies) – great for your dogs coat 1 cup oatmeal – I usually run the oatmeal through a food processor, but you do not have to. It is the "milk" which makes the oat flour with water that is the important part. All washes anyway. Essential oils of tea tree, peppermint or lavender – Mint and lavender are be flea deterrents !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember !!!!!!!!!! to fill the rest of the container with water and shake to mix well each time I use it. Also, do not be fooled by their "character liquidy. A little of these things is a long way! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope !!!!!!!!!!! this helps Oh, and a side note. I stopped using expensive flea products (pesticides), as Advantix and Frontline. The solution I've found works great and is all natural. Yeast tablets beer costs about $ 9.00 for 600 tablets. You give your dog 1 tablet per 10 pounds. every day. I have not seen a flea however, this season. Yeast is required two weeks to enter their systems. Also the treatment of my garden with DE (diatomaceous earth). I can buy mine online. It as a bit of flour made from fossil shells. Wow, does this stuff! It is all natural too, so it will not hurt you or any of its creatures. It costs about $ 20 to treat my back yard 1,700 square feet. I have never used twice. Also I have cedar chips at the base of my fence to the yard fleas neighbors do not go for a while. Not everyone likes the cedars. Hope this helps!
