maltese puppies

Does anyone know much about Maltese puppies?
My best friend just bought a Maltese. We have seen their parents and were both pure white, but the puppy seems to have much of what I believe are called marks or ivory lemon (depending on the breed standard). Some people (including the keeper) say will disappear as you get older, but I've been searching online for hours and I can not seem to find a picture of a puppy with these marks. Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
Yes, I think it will disappear as the puppy matures. I go to the American Association of Malta for more color hair and fur is unique, that is, without undercoat. It hangs long, flat, and silky over the sides of the body almost, if not entirely, to the land. The head of long hair can be tied into a bun or may left hanging. Any suggestion of perversion, kinky, or the texture of wool is objectionable. Color, pure white. Light tan or lemon on the ears is permissible, but not desirable Size Weight under 7 pounds, 4 to 6 pounds preferred. Overall quality is to have priority over size
