Who want to adopt a dog / puppy from a shelter? What supplies do I need?
I want a puppy. But I'll wait til spring so I have more time to spend with him / her. I made a list of things you need: dog bed, training pads, 2 bowls, dog food, balls tennis / other toys, collar and leash, comb and brush, ID tag, treats. That's all I can think of. Anything else you would need beyond that???
Food, food bowl, bed, collar and leash, ID tag, toys, cage, long, shampoos, brushes, etc. The following link gives the full list. Old towels and plenty of paper towels:) Books and links to websites that give you advice. A word about the tennis balls, I know that many people use them, but the outside is very abrasive and wears down the teeth in a very short time, even if only used for searching. Rubber is much better.
