How much should I bid on a 1991 883 harley sporster?
Hear a local woman is selling a 1991 883 sportster harley (duh) and has no price! What should we offer? I've done some browsing this bike asking price is between $ 2500 – $ 5000! I was thinking more like $ 1.200 TOPS, but I'm new to the scene on a bicycle and definition can not quote a price on anything. This is for my wife who just got his motorcycle license, but no.
Many Sportster older have the charging problems .. Recently passed 1200 in parts to fix the load problem on my 1988 sportster. I think the tranny 91 is a 5-speed and rotor is different. I would stay away from any age ….. Harley period. You can not imagine what I experienced. Paid $ 1100 for the bike and thought it had to end to put back together. Now I have about $ 7000 on him. Was able to drive after investing only in 2000 but has been one thing after another. If you are buying an old thought Harley you are saving money … you're probably going to burn.
