Do I need a dog license if I own a dog?
I just received something of an animal shelter saying "Please, please housing contact regarding dog license "What should I do?" I live in Ontario, Canada just to see. Oh, and I live in a apartment
You have to contact them and buy a dog license. I too am in Ontario Canada. Where I am, if the dog is sterilized / neutered costs much less than if it is not. Also where I am, if sterilized / neutered and a microchip that can pay a single life as long as you stay in the city. If you move outside the city has to pay again and go by their rules. I also have to show my certificate of rabies vaccination to the vet when I pick up my new tags each year. Just call the shelter and they will tell you what to do. No matter if you live in an apartment, condominium or single house of the rules are the same. You can be fined if not, I have a license. If you refuse to get one that can take your dog so do not delay.
