Leash Green
Leash Green
My kitten 2 months old has a cold eye. What should I do or what kind of antibiotics you can use?

Symptoms: eye extracts left of a white / green goo, like a human mucus. It gets to where it can not open the eye very well, either that or prefer not to because it hurts, I do not know. I've been cleening the goo out of his eyes with a damp cloth to last week and seems to have gotten a little better. It is meowing more when I clean. When he got this cold eyes (at least that's what they told me it was my mom) who sat there like a cat on a leash. When I started to clean / wipe the drool as beahaved same as always. Ecsept not play with their toys. (It's a kitten outside and is very adventurous). Is this more of a Reson to take to the vet or someone thinks they are cured on their own? So far I do not think that his eye has been done any better. There was a time, however, that could open the eye very well, but now he likes to keep it closed most of the time. PLEASE HELP ME!

In the end, will I live to cats get parvo in your eye, which occurs naturally in the soil here. That's what seems to have their cats. You can get an antibiotic gel in the grocery store that is placed directly in the eye and a small dose of penicillin. Penicillin is presented in a liquid, but if you have any remnant of when you or a family member were sick can only crush and put in a little milk. Personally, I go to the vet first and that is reviewed and that the cat is getting vaccines to prevent further infection. Parvo in the eyes causes blindness and death so its not really a question of light.
