What values are best for an LCD monitor?
… In terms of wear and tear and extend its life. I heard that the color settings dark are the best for a monitor, but this was for a CRT monitor. I'm talking about an LCD. Thanks.
Some of the lowest brightness ratio change LCD will cause eye strain too. New Monitors can go as high as 3,000 to 1, with high ratios to be lowering the brightness. Just go with what looks good to you, not squinting to go to longevity.
