How long will a bag of 50 pounds of grain last horse?
I have a mustang, gets four measures of grain every day. (1 pound per tablespoon). Usually I make a bag of grain last ten days.I moved my horse to a new stable and I'm going through 3 bags in four days. So my question is how long should my 1 bag of 50 pounds last me?
Just do the math! 50 divided by 4 is 10 days more 10 pounds left for 2 days more than 2 pounds to spare. Therefore, a total of 12 1 / 2 days.
