Large Beige
Suggestions as to what color curtains to hang in a large open room with wooden floors and sage green walls?
I'm thinking in an olive green. The adjacent dining room / kitchen is wood with beige walls.
Its color and fabric selection really depends on your decor and lifestyle. Some of the options that I'm viewing are: 1. olive green that you mentioned will create a serene space, tone on tone tends to do that. 2. printing in red / cream / brown / …… some kind of pictures. 3. (my favorite) metal. Think brass, not gold. This adds tons of class and reflection to the room. If you choose a soft texture, like a pure linen or chintz, the room will remain soft, but exciting.
