Knit Sweater

I accidentally spilled candle wax on my pretty crocheted sweater. How can I get the wax?
I think that its one of those rare candles vegetable oil fat (or something of that nature) and I have shed some of me on the size of the rooms in two areas. The jersey is dark brown and wax type of substance just feels like a thick oil, wax, and Grose What should I do? Thank you!
the best way I know to remove the wax the fabric is fairly easy and effective. use a dry paper towel over the shirt where the wax and then use a medium high temperature iron and iron the paper towel over wax. iron melts the wax, while paper towel will absorb up. if well enough that you can do so without leaving a stain, but hurry and wash afterwards.
