information about pugs

Any information on pug puppies?
Now I have a deposit on a fawn Pug puppy. She is beautiful and the sweetest puppy ever. I'll take home in two weeks approxmately (As of now my boyfriend and I visit her daily to be used for us). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on pug puppies. Any experience, information, or person that the story would be much appreciated. I would like advice on everything concerning pug puppies (I am not looking for anything in particular). Feel free to respond through. Yahoo Answers or my e-mail. Thank you.
Pugs (actually, each short-nosed breed – called brachycyphalic) are vulnerable to upper respiratory distress. When you have your puppy for his first examination with your veterinarian, ask questions about the possible need for your puppy to be gentle platform set, and the nose was extended. These are simple procedures that can be performed simultaneously to get the dog fixed. Addressing these common problems early in life will help you and your pet prevent collapse trachea and lungs. What happens is, especially in times of excitement, the dog tries to inhale a large amount of air, but the soft palette and nose interfere, collapsing trachea, as sucking a thick milkshake through a straw. This the damage is permanent and can not be repaired surgically, and will cause damage to the lungs over time. Many owners are unaware of these problems, or are not willing to spend the little bit of money during puppy hood to prevent the collapsed trachea.
