Why people still celebrate the pagan festival of Christmas?
Jesus was not born on this day. The largest pagan symbol that irritates me most of all is Santa Claus. No St. Nick, But Santa, two different people. So the only reason for Christmas is an excuse to buy and eat like a pig. Oh also to see their loved ones who have avoided through the year.
if you want to discuss Christmas, then go for everything. Easter with its symbolism Egg and Rabbit (fertility) nothing to do with the death and resurrection of Jesus. and Halloween, the largest pagan festival of all. Why celebrate ST. Patricks Day when we are in Ireland. Why thanksgiving when just trying to weed out the people who began Thanksgiving with us (American Indians) after we showed so much hospitality.
