Frisbee Pet
How is the quality of life of a pet or how to make them more comfortable in his last years?
I have a border old collie, about 15 years old. She is a beautiful dog, but it used to be so active and vibrant, Frisbee-catching and attractive. You now have cataracts and has lost most of its audience. She sleeps most of the time and has difficulty jumping on the couch. She smiles when she sees me. I do not know how to tell if she pain, because it is never one to complain. I want to ensure that not only convenient, but still enjoys his advanced age, although she can not do things that before.
It is imperative to work with your veterinarian to determine the quality of your pet's life. At some point (hopefully not for a while!), Se / May have to take the most painful decision, which will end the life of another sentient being. Not exactly a normal decision making. I'd say if your dog is not in pain or suffering from cancer or other disease, left to enjoy his dream. We all get a little stiff. Sounds like it's time for the visit to the vet, however! Good luck!
