Why do people say milk is bad for dogs?
Two stories: My husband had a dog when we were dating for about nine years. He found the dog lying on the ground taking his last breath grow almost dying and people told us that when a dog is sick give them milk. My husband gets a gallon of milk, open the dogs mouth and makes the dog drink it. After 5 minutes the dog gets up, almost falls but gets up and starts walking. That dog died old. Another story: My chihuahua female child was coughing and vomiting and I gave her milk in a few minutes, I did not hear the coughing and vomiting stopped. Do my dogs only have strong digestive systems, or what? Or is that milk actually help sick dogs? Just wondering if anyone else has used the existence dog sick?
Supposdly dogs are lactose intolerant. My dog drinks milk all the time and now is 10 and healthy living. I think the milk soothes, like stomach acid it does in humans what a dog would do well to have some. I think it just depends on people living theory … I say what works for you.
