What is your opinion on an underground fence for a dog?
We just got a dog that always escapes without a leash. We would like to have a fence underground. Wal-Mart has a fence that is much cheaper than the brand Petsmart take? Has anyone had experience with or near metro?
A real fence better for several reasons. An invisible fence training takes a long time from you and the dog is getting a electric shock, no matter what the companies say. In addition, there is nothing to prevent a stray dog to come to your property and attacking their dogs. Moreover, in many states there is "attractive nuisance" law – let's assume that dogs are loose in your yard and be good. However, some young children find it and into your garden to pet them. If they hit the child and injure him or bite of it – you could be responsible.
