How long will it take for my dog to warm up?
I just got her yesterday. She’s five months, she’s a Boerboel Mastiff. She likes me but it takes her like an half hour to move her from one place to another. Especially from outside to in the house.
No she doesn’t move slowly shes just really shy. And everytime she hears a car or a bird she jumps up and looks around or if I try to hug her or pet her she has to look at me. But I gave her a kiss and she let me.
It can take several weeks for a dog to feel at home in a new place, especially if she came from somewhere where she wasn’t properly socialized. Do you mean she moves slowly? Maybe she has some health problems. In any event, it is always a good idea to schedule a Vet checkup within a day or two of getting a new dog.
