dog training puppies

I want to be a dog trainer, I can specialize in puppy training and therapy dogs?
I am looking at ABC (Animal Behavior College) to study dog training. I was wondering if I can specialize in training therapy dogs and puppies? Is there a demand for this?
I would say that for the first time become a "regular" dog trainer. It takes years of experiance to specialize, as in any other profession. There are many training methods out there and MANY first have to choose what you feel is best for the dogs and yourself. Not the "method of correction," the "clicker method", the "purely positive approach" and it's just to name a few. First, you have to understand all the different methods and decide which you like most. Once this is done, teach dogs of all ages for several years successfully and then specialize. Cubs ALWAYS need for training so there will be an endless supply of students if you are good at what you do – therapy. Dogs that do not depend on what they consider a "dog therapy. "Are you talking about those who visit hospitals and nursing homes and participate in the" reading to children "programs and if so, no specialized training involved. Or the dog has the personality and training through regular channels or he / she does not. Border Collie is my biggest a certificate from St. John Ambulance Therapy dog here in Canada. All that is needed is "test" – for temperament and obedience and the reaction to the "strange" circumstances and loud noises. Temperament can not be taught. Is there or not … behavior can be modified, but not temperament …. In addition, programs therapy dog does not want "young" puppies and dogs. I think here the dog must have a minimum of 2 years before it can be proven. This does not fit very well with his "puppy" scheme – unless they continue with the older dogs once they are out of puppy class. If, therapy dog, which means "Service dogs" to the blind, deaf, physically disabled … that is a different story. All the various bodies of these dogs have fairly strict requirements (I think – who have never had to do) and more than likely require years of proven experience before they will teach you to train working dogs Good special. lucky …. I love knowing that someone is interested in making a dog's life (and life of the owner) a very pleasant experience!
