Does anyone have some tips for training your dog to walk withouth need for a directive or thong?
We had a lot of dogs in my family. We are about to get a new one. We have never been able to train our dog to walk without a lead, especially because we have never relied on the dog to stay with us, so we have not had the courage to walk one wihtout. How do people generally train dogs to walk in obedience?
They need a lot of social life, classes obedience really good and they must first be 100% reliable on the belt before thinking about taking the belt off of them. That means they respond to a recovery whenever no matter what distractions.
