dog training at home
Has anyone actually trained their dog at home, and if so how long will it take?
I am planning to adopt a small dog a local shelter within the next two months.
It takes as long as the dog's life. Training is an ongoing thing. It is not something that the dog learns and only always remember. You have to keep up with the training. It is something that has to be consistent or dog learn the right behaviors, regardless of whether a trick, or the place to go to the bathroom. I have 3 dogs, and raising a pit bull rescue. I have trained all my dogs at home. It's a family effort, so not only me.
