dog training aggressive
I have a parrot and a 5 month Vizsla puppy. Can you train the dog not to be aggressive towards the bird?
We have a 6 years old African gray is a part of the family. He likes being on top of the cage and always in the same room as us. Sometimes he flies to the ground. Yesterday, we adapted a Vizsla puppy 5 months. She is very hyperactive and was startled when he saw the bird. I do not want the bird in a cage all the time, but I'm worried for his safety. Is it possible to train the dog not being aggressive towards the bird? Does anyone have the birds and dogs living together in the same house?
My fifth grade teacher did. I'm still surprissed I remember it was long ago I had a dog, 2 parrots, a rabbit that was in the classroom and more. Either way give the dog a lot of toys he is busy, while the parrot flies to the floor if that work Dosn't hold the dog while the parrot flies around and if that Dosn't worktrain the bird to remain on top.
