What is the best pet supply store?

I'm getting a puppy on Saturday and although I am a dog lover, are not owners one at a time. I have not been in all major pet stores. What is the best? How is the selection? How are prices? Thank you!

I agree, home based small places are best. But sometimes certain things in their stores can be a bit pricy because you need a profit, even if you love animals, I'm sure you do! —
