dog urine and chlorine.?

I was cleaning a friends dog grooming shop and picked up the mats on the floor to find this spot urine and I put undiluted from the bottle of bleach on it and then dried up. I had to stop twice to get out and breathe because my eyes were burning really bad, but the doors were open. I just heard that if you mix bleach and ammonia can kill you, and I know that ammonia in the urine, so I wondering if something is going ot happen …. this was also about 5 hours. Control Poision called and told that if im not having problems like wheezing respritory (which I am not), then there is nothing the hospital could do. household bleach and is already dilute urine that the dog doesn't have much ammonia in it. Im just afraid that Im gonna go to sleep and not wake up from this to help someone …. ps when poured on the points which made a little bubble.

You are not going to die from the blow, but would do well to take plenty of water to remove toxins. Lots [of fruits and vegetables as well.] Yes, mixing chlorine and ammonia is toxic, even diluted. It is possible which does not kill, but it sure makes you feel gross. For future reference, a good product to use to eliminate the smell of urine is the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Water is H2O, so the hydrogen peroxide is water with extra oxygen molecule. That oxygen is absolutely superb to neutralize many of odors on all the urine. You have to make several applications, because the oxygen molecules rapidly depleted in the presence of toxic chemicals. It takes much oxygen to get rid of the smell. Want to clean the urine wet and rinse super well MOP. Pour H2O2 on the treatment area (color test a small inconspicuous place if used in the carpet), let sit for several minutes, then either clean it or use a vacuum to suck up water. Repeat this step for many times it takes for the odor to be neutralized. I would suggest treating the bottom of the mats in the same way. Allow mats to air dry outside expediate the process. Beware of H2O2 … that the extra oxygen molecule is too bad on the skin. Rinse any areas that come in contact with the H2O2.
